    Job Summary:  Mental Health First Aid/Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) manages outreach and engagement to increase awareness of Mental Health First Aid in the community. The outreach worker is responsible for increasing the number of MHFA training sessions available and increasing the number of overall trainings completed in Travis County, as well increasing numbers of MHFA trainings in surrounding independent school districts. The outreach worker will work with individuals and school administrators to build relationships and assess training needs. As an ambassador of Integral Care the outreach worker will operate from a trauma informed and culturally diverse framework in all community interactions. The outreach worker will also be trained as a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and deliver trainings in the community and for local schools. Work will be performed under general supervision of the Mental Health First Aid Program Manager, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. This position will work in closely with the Mental Health First Aid Program Manager to fulfill duties and contract requirements. Must be able to able to perform a variety of moderately complex administrative work in office, business and/or fiscal operations. Maintains oversight of MHFA instructor list. Able to schedule and perform MHFA training programs under the grant when needed.



    • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

    • Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.

    • Bilingual in Spanish

    Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional Saturdays.

    Salary:  Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479-$40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder.
