    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

CapMetro is seeking a Program Manager with excellent communication skills to plan and implement B2B programs and strategies to market and represent CapMetro’s services.
     
    The Program Manager for Partnerships and Business Development reports directly to the Director of Marketing. This position is responsible for creating and implementing programs that provide diverse revenue streams to CapMetro and identifies potential new business opportunities for the agency. This position will plan and implement proactive Business to Business (B2B) programs and plan and monitor strategies to market and represent Capital Metro’s services.  The position is responsible for day-to-day activities of the MetroWorks program, and the growth of the program by identifying new business and signing new customers into the program. Oversees the transit advertising program, managing the contractor relationship and ensuring compliance. Coordinates other business development projects including assisting with identifying objectives, developing concepts, coordinating events, managing contracts, and developing presentations. The position will serve as a staff liaison with internal and external customers for the B2B program, and provide communications support for other meetings and events.
     
    WHAT YOU BRING
    •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication Studies, Public Relations or related field. Related experience may substitute for educational requirements on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years.
    •Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the business-to-business field that includes developing, conducting and implementing aggressive sales campaigns with measurable outcomes.
    •One (1) year of demonstrated experience in leading a collaborative team.
    •Experience with developing presentations and leading public speaking forums.
     
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    •Knowledge of Project management methodology, principles, practices and tools.
    •Intermediate skill level using word processing, database, and spreadsheets.
    •Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of business development, research, sales, and promotional methods.
    •Work closely with staff at all levels and in a team environment with a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere. 
    •Ability to cultivate leads, make sales calls, meet sales deadlines, and manage client relationships.
    •Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, community leaders and other major stakeholders.
    •Effective organizational development and problem-solving skills
    •Effective planning and strategic management skills.
    •Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
    •Ability to handle fast paced business environment and adjust to rapid change.
    •Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be customer-oriented.
    •Excellent presentation, power point and public speaking skills.
    •Ability to produce professional documents.
    •Ability to work with diverse populations.
    •Ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends when necessary.
