The Manager, Accounting and Revenue reports directly to the Controller. This position is responsible for the oversight and the day-to-day process of general and revenue accounting functions to ensure the Accounting and Finance Department meet their goals and objectives efficiently and effectively. This position will provide informed assistance to Capital Metro management and employees in other areas of the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Government Accounting Standards Boards (GASB) pronouncements.
•Prepare or supervise preparation of internal and external financial statements, support schedules, and periodic reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and GASB.
•Manage the external audit to successfully complete annual audits of Financial Statements, Single Audit, and agreed upon procedures audits on time.
•Responsible for the development, maintenance, and monitoring of compliance of all revenue related processes, policies and procedures, including accounts receivable and miscellaneous cash receipts, daily banking, fare media, and fare revenue.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, which include twenty-four (24) college semester hours in accounting. Certified Public Accountant preferred.
•Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a staff accountant or similar position.
•Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
