The Vice President, Operations and Maintenance Oversight reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer/Chief Operations Officer (CCO/COO). This position is responsible for all aspects of Fixed Route bus and Rideshare services provided by the Authority. The primary focus of this position is to ensure that contracted service providers perform in a manner consistent with the requirements and standards defined in the contracts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Transportation or related field. Related experience may substitute for education on a year per year basis up to four years.
•Ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience, to include six (6) years directing a professional staff, administrative/operations experience encompassing all functional aspects associated with the operation and maintenance of a bus system.
•Experience managing a mid to large size transit system or experience in a similar environment is preferred.
