The Deputy Chief of Staff is a senior level position that reports directly to the EVP, Chief of Staff. This position performs highly responsible management work covering a broad range of activities for Capital Metro and the Executive Office, including leading and overseeing special projects for the President & CEO’s office and the Senior Executive Team, ensuring substantive coordination of matters and issues among staff and stakeholders, and bringing the Executive Office perspective to materials and initiatives internally and externally. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist all facets of operation of the President & CEO’s office, as well as the Chief of Staff’s office.
•Assist staff in carrying out the direction of the CEO and Board of Directors.
•Lead and oversee special projects for the President & CEO’s Office. Serve as a project champion for projects in support of the agency’s strategic goals. Evaluate and make recommendations for internal and external initiatives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
•Five (5) years of experience in communications, public relations, government relations, law or related fields.
•Experience in the areas of planning, research, program development or transportation preferred.
SALARY RANGE - 88,795.00 - 115,433.00 - ANNUALLY
