CEO Job Description
GAACC is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to administer its strategic, operational and financial goals. The CEO will work with the Board to ensure that the Chamber operates in accordance with its by-laws and standard service level agreements. The CEO will support the Board in securing and maintaining funding from government and corporate/private funders, including initiating and maintaining external partnerships. We are looking for an exceptional not-for-profit administrator with a polished, energetic, flexible attitude. The candidate must have proven success in the management of a not-for-profit, in a public-facing role, with great attention to detail.
This position requires strong knowledge of Asian Pacific American (APA) communities, experience working with diverse APA community members, and familiarity with Asian cultures. While we know that there are more countries located on the Asian continent, we follow the 2020 Census definitions of who comprises this demographic: Asian as persons having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian subcontinent, and Pacific Islanders as persons having origins in any of the original peoples of Philippines, Hawaii, Guam, Samoa, or other Pacific Islands.

- Protect and enhance GAACC's image and brand
- Hire staff to achieve program objectives
- Ensure smooth operations in compliance with laws and ethical standards
- Represent APA community with the highest integrity to the general public
This is a full time position that requires regular evening and weekend obligations. Candidates with side businesses or responsibilities that would create conflicts of interest will not be considered.
