About the Presenter
Emlyn Roesler started making soaps in 2013 as a “make the presents” Christmas project. Her very first soap was made from a melt-and-pour kit she had gifted to her husband. What started out as a fun craft project turned into a business and
Solid Soaps was born in April, 2018. Emlyn went into full-time soap making in 2021, making the tough decision to leave her profession as a clinical nurse specialist and move into something new, exciting, and creative through her business.
Emlyn creates consciously-crafted soaps using phthalate-free fragrance, essential oils, natural colorants, and botanicals. Her soaps are sold in tons of stores around Austin, and she also does custom orders online. Emlyn is a mother of two youngsters and works from her home studio, affectionately known as “Stu.”
The next Women's Club meeting is via Zoom – July 14, 2022 – "Get Noticed on Social Media: Inspire People to Engage with Your Stellar Content"
