Join us for the May Women’s Club’s virtual event as our fearless leader, Stephanie Louie, takes us through Texas “Disability Documents” (which include Powers of Attorney, HIPPA Authorizations, and Advanced Healthcare Directives) why you need them – and more importantly why your almost-adult and young adult children need them! – as well as other information that all adults should know at all stages of life, whether you are just heading off to college, you’re married, starting a family, or in your golden years of retirement.
This month's lunch partner is Shu Shu’s Asian Cuisine. We encourage those participating to visit their website and order their delicious food as we meet via zoom and network with one another.

Speaker: Stephanie Louie, Estate Planning and Probate Attorney at Bloomquist Law
When we turn 18, we officially become “legal adults”, meaning we now have to take care of ourselves and be responsible (yuck!) Unfortunately, as we grow even older, and especially as Asian American women, the list of responsibilities only grows to include taking care of a partner or spouse, children, and even our own parents (amongst others)! The same is true with estate planning: Step 1 is to take care of your own S*** and make sure that if something happens to you, there’s at least someone who can make important decisions on your behalf.
Women's Club meets on the second Thursday of every month for an hour and a half to eat amazing food from one of our community restaurant members, enjoy a presentation that is inspiring, educational, and fun on a rotational topic of choice, and network with each other to strengthen our relationships.
The May, 2022 Women's Club will be held virtually via Zoom. Look out for more information coming soon and reserve your place today.
