Are you a minority owned business enterprises (MBE), women owned business enterprises (WBE)? Attend the certification workshop conducted by Joy Simmons, Business Development Counselor with the City of Austin's Small & Minority Business Resource department's. Learn how this program can help you to do business with local, state, and federal government, or prime contractors.After the workshop there is a round-table networking session with public agencies and businesses looking for minority enterprises to contract with. Come and learn what their needs are and develop relationships with these organizations and prime contractors.
Vendors participating the networking include the following Texas Departments; Criminal Justice, Health and Human Services, Park and Wild Life Departments, Juvenile Justice, Comptroller of Public Accounts, Commission on Environmental Quality, and Purchasing Department from City of Austin, Austin Community College, and more.
You don't have to attend the certification workshop to come to the roundtable networking session.
