    Event Description:

    Are you a minority business and interested in selling your products/services to federal agencies? We are offering a certification workshop by the U.S. Small Business Administration, their 8(a) program, and how to response to Request for Proposals (RFP).

    After the workshop is a roundtable networking session with public agencies and businesses looking for minority enterprises to do business with. Learn what their needs are and build relationships with these organizations and prime contractors. People do business with people! You don't have to attend the certification class to come to the roundtable networking session.

    Agencies participated in the past include the SBA, Texas Depts of Criminal Justice, Information Resources, Public Safety, Insurance, Motor Vehicles, TCEQ, CapMetro, Texas General Land Office, Travis County, Austin Purchasing Dept, AISD, and prime contractors like Flintco and HDR.
